Oh my gosh! How long is it going to be before SOMEBODY in authority over schools and children figure out that they are creating a huge population of meth amphetamine addicts??
The short term solution is coming back to haunt you and to haunt all of us! You had kids who were too bright to be happy with being in classrooms where a 100 I.Q. was the target, so you gave them Ritalin® and other kinds of amphetamines. After they got out of school, the drugs stopped because they were no longer needed to keep the kids in line. Now, the first time they are exposed to crack cocaine or to crystal meth, they say, "Oh, yeah! This is what I used to be given in school, only a hundred times better!"
You Band-Aid brandishers, trying to do a quick fix for kids that are too bright! You have effectively robbed us all of a next generation that can actually think. How would it be to take four hours to do a task that would take any normal person about half an hour? That's really productive! Not to mention that these drugs leach the calcium out of their bones and dissolve their teeth. I guess that they don't really need teeth if they are not going to eat anything, right?
Our social security system is really in danger if we think that there will be anyone left to work and contribute to the system. All the ones who were actually smart enough to make enough money to make any difference whatsoever will be out doing drugs. It's the ones who have to struggle to make fifteen bucks an hour that will be left supporting all us old folks when it gets down to the last roundup.
I think we should keep giving all of our
smart students drugs, don't you? Why waste
all that money with special programs for the gifted when we can just get rid of
them?
