Break the Chains... Online Self-Empowerment

Many of us feel as though we are in chains; we cannot move in the directions that we wish to move. We seemingly cannot change anything meaningful in our lives; we have the same old jobs, the same relationships regardless of who it is with, the same feeling of helplessness that we have had forever. How do we break those chains and LIVE a productive, satisfying and meaningful life?

When Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel, people thought differently about reality. The image portrays a man being rescued by an Angel of Mercy, to be freed from his chains. We know today that there aren't any angels with golden wings that are going to rescue us from the prisons we live in. These were fantasies of the middle ages: that some external force was going to come and rescue them. Now we are starting to take more responsibility for our lives, and we know that the Angel is within.

So many of us have gone through the majority of our lives feeling alone or depressed for some unknown reason, or apparently at the beck and call of other people's whims. All of this may be summed up as a lack in something that is called PERSONAL POWER. This personal power is ours for the recognition of it within ourselves.

We have asked ourselves why some people can stand in front of a group and speak as though they hadn't a care in the world, and yet it takes an act of congress for us to do the same thing? We never stop to find out if they are scared too; we assume that they are completely self-confident and worthy and that we are unworthy. We support our views and beliefs by manifesting events in our lives, and then take those events as facts about ourselves. This is a cycle that keeps us chained and bound within our beliefs.

Let's break those chains and find our personal power!

Introduction:
An overview of the process that leads to Personal Power.
Why Doesn't Anyone Understand Me?
"I feel separate from the universe. I feel like I came from another planet, and no one understands me! (Maybe the aliens will come back soon and get me?)"
Why am I so Lonely?
"I am so lonely I could die. No one ever calls me, and when they do, it's never the people I want to call me."
Searching for my "Other Half"
"If only I could find that special someone, my life would be different. I found Chris, but all of the promises were just hype."
Rage, the Internal Assassin.
"I am so mad I could spit! Why does everyone else get the good jobs? Why does everyone else find a sweetheart? I hate my life!"
Why am I Stressed?
"I have always got a headache or a stomach ache. I hate this! And not only that, I am usually so nervous that if someone surprises me at work, I jump almost out of my skin. How come other people are so calm? Do they take tranquilizers or something?"
Your Point of Power is in the Present
"I have decided to try to live in the here and now. Everyone has always said that I lived in the past, or that I lived in a fantasy world."
The World as a Soul Mirror
"It seems like every time I discover something about myself, I find out later that I am no longer irritated about it in others. I think this is what some people have meant when they have talked about mirroring."
I Take 100% Personal Responsibility
"I take every possible opportunity to take responsibility for my thoughts and beliefs, as well as my actions."
Activating the Power Within
"I am beginning to feel the power of my thoughts and beliefs being actualized in the world around me. I know that I am worthy."
Conclusion: The Paradigm Shift
As more and more people take control of their lives, begin to love non-judgmentally and without expectations, the world will change. When enough people have changed to create what is referred to as critical mass, the world will change completely.
