Overview of the Process of Empowerment

...excerpt from The Fall, Sistine Chapel

Many of us feel separate: separate from the world, separate from each other and separate from what we know we can be. We feel misunderstood, lonely, depressed, stressed, and enraged because we seemingly can't do anything about it.

As we begin to take responsibility for our thoughts and beliefs as creative action, seeing ourselves as one with the world, we begin to actualize what we have always known to be our ideal selves. We begin to BECOME the beauty we have always kept secret from ourselves.

When we change our innermost selves to match our ideals, and strip away the beliefs that society and our parents sold us as a bill of goods (and we bought!), we will find that our world is changing radically around us. First, as we strip away the old habits in our beliefs, our old friends will fall away like withered fruit on a tree unwatered. This is to be expected. These old friends are no longer getting what they want from us; they were there for the camaraderie of a kindred spirit. We will no longer be that kindred spirit.

There is no time but now. Have you ever heard anyone say "I am going to get the car fixed yesterday?" The assertion that you are going to do something tomorrow is just as absurd. The only time that you can actually DO something is NOW! NOW is your Point of Power; use it!

Most of us feel fear when we do something new to us. It seems like we have always taken fear to mean we should choose flight. There is, however, the "other" choice, fight. The fight is, of course, an internal one; the fight is with fear.

We all want that magic power of self-confidence, that compelling karisma that "born leaders" have. AND WE ALL HAVE IT ALREADY! All we have to do is acknowledge that we have it and own it as ours.

So, we have a bit of dirty laundry to do, don't we? Let's get that wash going right now!

First, before we get down to specifics, let's talk about one thing... The process outlined on these pages is between your journal, and NO ONE ELSE! Many times, when asked a question about our lives, we have a tendency to answer:

"My parents wouldn't...
"My wife isn't...
"My husband doesn't...
"My boss won't...
"My kids aren't...
Remember, the questions AND the answers (solutions) on these pages are for YOU, not someone else!
